A man stole more $9,700 worth of trading cards from a Brady-backed card shop in the SoHo area of Lower Manhattan, New York City, according to the NYPD.
The NYPD told FOX 5the suspect attempted to purchase baseball and Pokémon cards, but the payment declined.They then manually used the touch-to-pay system to bypass the purchase and leave with the cards.
The theft occurred on Oct. 20 before noon at the CardVault store on Lafayette Street.
